Our organization consists of members from all walks of life. We are members of the military, law enforcement officers, retirees, and many civilians. What we all have in common is an interest to preserve our military heritage and to share it with the public, to educate and to honor our veterans. Membership is open to anyone who would like to help with our preservation effort, whether you own military vehicles, would just like to come out and help, or are looking to get started in re-enactment.
How to Join

If you are interested in joining the Virginia Military Preservation Association (VMPA) you can apply below. Before applying you should know that we offer two levels of membership: full membership and associate membership.

Full membership is open to anyone who would like to have voting rights in the organization. The cost of this type of membership is only $20 a year and your presence at membership meetings is required so you are update on ongoing projects and issues and can vote accordingly. You do not have to own a vehicle or display equipment to become a full member of the organization, but you do have to pay the fee and attend the meetings.

Associate membership is open to anyone who would like to participate in events, share knowledge and history, and assist the organization. This level of membership is free and open to anyone who is interested.

If you are ready to become a member you just have to complete a few steps. First download the form below, print it, and fill it in. Full membership applicants do not include the $20 membership fee with your application. Second mail the form to the address provided at the end of it. Third wait for one of our members to contact you.

Again the membership fee is not due until you have been approved as a member.
